” Amid economic adversity, Grameen Yemen has emerged as a pioneering model of financial and social empowerment, by delivering small financings directly to the doorsteps of the poor, without requiring collateral or charging interest, this innovative approach aims to create job opportunities and enhance livelihoods. With Grameen Yemen’s methodology, we have been able to enhance the lives of thousands of families. As of July 2024, Grameen Yemen has provided interest-free financing totaling (1,300,628,450) riyals, benefiting (8,158) women in the districts of northern Hodeidah. These financings have enabled the creation of small income-generating projects in various fields. Tangible successes have been achieved, with significant improvements in their living conditions. They now have stable and sustainable sources of income that alleviate their need and make them independent of destitution”
